It is about 7:30 PM in the metropolitan area of Congrade Valley known as The Ravio Center. The street, sidewalk, and buildings are all damp from a recent cloudburst that went as quickly as it arrived. Numerous cars turn into the parking garage for the local art museum, performing arts theater, and concert hall. A maroon-colored sedan follows the directions of a garage attendant and parks in a space next to a small exit. The minute hand on the large clock at the campus library strikes eight in the morning and a mechanism springs to life that plays a simple tune on five large bells.
